The Parent Sleep Lab

6 Weeks. 6 Lessons. Better Sleep for Your Family — Without Cry-It-Out.

Finally stop dreading bedtimes — and get your evenings (and sleep) back.

Our Sleep Labs are held at The Baby Room and Eli House in Exeter.

Local, in-person sleep support classes in Exeter — designed to help you understand your child’s sleep, feel more confident about sleep and enjoy calmer nights knowing exactly what your child needs.

Each session is led by a certified, regulation-first sleep consultant.
You’ll leave each week with one simple step you can use straight away to bring more ease into your family’s nights and days.

You’ve probably tried all the “tips” and you’re still facing battles at bedtime, nights full of wakeups, or nap confusion that makes every day unpredictable. It’s not your fault.

– Bedtime routines
– White noise
– Early bedtimes
…but your child still struggles to fall or stay asleep.

Or maybe sleep is improving — but only when you sacrifice your evenings, your energy and your peace of mind.

You’re not doing anything wrong. You just haven’t had support that actually fits your family.

What is The Parent Sleep Lab?

A small, in-person class that brings expert sleep support into a gentle, real-life setting.

In just 6 weeks, you’ll go from second-guessing sleep to knowing exactly what your child needs — with expert-led, realistic support you can use right away.

  • Why your child wakes often or resists bedtime

  • The difference between settling and soothing and how to do both

  • How to reduce night wakes and improve sleep quality

  • A plan you can put into practice straight away

  • And most of all: confidence, calm, and a clearer path forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Babies welcome in class

Babies are always welcome — but it’s totally fine to come alone if you prefer. Comfort is a priority.

You’ll get practical takeaways every single week

Spaces are limited to keep the group personal and supportive

Designed for families with children aged 6 months to 6 years

Everything is evidence-based and gentle

What if my baby cries during the session?

That’s absolutely fine. This space is designed for parents of little ones no judgement and you’ll never be a distraction.

Is this sleep training?

No. The Lab is trauma-informed, evidence-led and gentle. There are no scripts, no cry-it-out and no pressure to follow rules that don’t fit your child.

I’ve tried everything — will this really help?

The Parent Sleep Lab is a restorative space designed to help you make sense of your child’s sleep needs and feel more confident about what really matters right now. It’s supportive, gentle, and practical but it isn’t designed to resolve complex or long-standing challenges on its own.

If that’s what you’re facing, my signature 1:1 sleep coaching programme, Settled in Six, may be the more appropriate next step. We can explore this together on a call if you’re unsure where to begin.

What if I miss a session?

Life happens — if you miss a week, you’ll still benefit from the rest of the programme. And if space allows, there may be an opportunity to repeat the missed session during a future round. Please email me [email protected]
